Inner Growth Thought of the Day: The Beauty In A Break & Pause For Inner Growth
A break and/or pause is always helpful for inner growth when you turn within.
These pause moments allow you to take some time to turn to your inner core and ask questions about the choices you’re making or about how you’re feeling in a moment where you’re about to react to something that is going on.
Here are some ways to explore the beauty in a break and/or pause with inner growth in mind.
- Any break you take from a normal day-to-day decide on five minutes for contemplation of you and explore how self-love and trust in your inner core are doing when it comes to your overall choices. At the end of your five minutes, list one to three things you’re going to start doing to add to self-love and trust every day.
- In any interaction that you notice yourself getting worked up about take a mental pause and turn to your heart to find that feeling of confidence, comfort, and calm. After a minute or so of focusing on that feeling, think of what you’re going to do next to stay in tune with it.
- Make it a habit to take pauses in moments where you are enjoying life and think of three things you’re grateful for about your life, even with the overwhelming things that go on around you.
