Inner Growth Thought of the Day: How Perspective Affects Effectiveness
Things that can affect your effectiveness begin with you and this includes your perspective. As you embark on an inner growth journey you gain awareness of that perspective and through contemplation you are also able to determine how it is affecting your effectiveness in the moment.
Moving forward in your inner growth journey enables you to put in to practice a higher level of consciousness of your perspective in the moment so that you may learn about you, your inner core’s desires, and put into action things that raise your effectiveness.
Here are some ways to learn from your perspective and ensure it affects your effectiveness in a way that is favorable long-term.
- In moments where you notice your effectiveness taking a downturn take at least five minutes to understand how your perspective is playing a role in this; then find one thing to do so that you focus on solutions or proactive actions to regain effectiveness towards the situation at hand.
- List five things that always increase your effectiveness and next to each write one perspective you have that includes the items you listed. As time goes by add to your list to notice how you incorporate these things within your perspective now that you are conscious of them.
- Make it a habit to take five minutes a day to visualize how your perspective sees effectiveness playing out through your day-to-day. As you do this, notice how open you are to different ways effectiveness can play out to what your perspective is set on.
