Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Living The Moment Even When Planning
No matter if you’re a planner or a non-planner, living the moment is something you can pursue as you explore how and why you plan or don’t plan.
As inner growth and consciousness take place of your “why’s”, you are able to live the moment thanks to the knowledge gained on the “mechanism” of the way you work when it comes to organization, time, project completions, and so on.
Here are some ways to live the moment and pursue inner growth through your planning or non-planning moments.
- Make a list of two to five ways your planning or non-planning affect your potential. Anything you list that takes away from your potential, find out what it represents (a fear, control, need, etc.) and list one way you’re going to work with it so that it doesn’t take away from you.
- Every time you interact with a person or situation that is opposite your planning or non-planning inclination, pay close attention to you (what’s going on inside, emotionally). When you get home, list five ways you were able to stay in the moment thanks to bringing yourself to a state of consciousness of what was going on within (inside, emotionally) you as things were taking place around you.
- When you think of doing things in the opposite way of how you like to plan or non-plan things, what are three thoughts that recurrently cross your mind. Explore these recurring thoughts and see how those thoughts change in time or remain the same.
