Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Knowing What You Can Or Can’t See Changes Your Life
What you see or can’t see depends on the views you hold and the knowledge you have; and as you pursue inner growth this journey and mindset gets you to be conscious of these things in the moment.
Looking within and being aware of one’s self in the moment is what allows you to have a complete view of your view, which then brings awareness and the choice to stay open or stay closed to what is coming your way (a new choice, a new thought, a different way to get to your final destination, etc.).
Here are some ways to keep in mind what you can or can’t see as you pursue inner growth.
- Make a list of two to five things you are adamantly against and when they take place try to make room for flexibility in how you approach these things. Notice how it changes your experience in time and what you learn about yourself thanks to your flexible ears and eyes.
- Once a month review the things you say no to and evaluate through an honest conversation with yourself if your no is from fear, belief, or what harm would it do to try some of those things you said no to. Simply explore your alternatives, but ultimately follow your heart always.
- When in a conversation, if you find yourself not truly listening to the person’s explanation of a thought or belief, remind yourself that there’s always something to learn from someone else’s perspective and try to open up your ears to listen as if your eyes saw with the eyes of the person sharing the explanation.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
