Inner Growth Thought of the Day: How To Make The Most Of A Challenge
Everyone has different reactions to different challenges, the ones that create resistance and a sense of uneasiness tend to be the ones we have a more difficult time making the best of in the moment.
When you pursue inner growth in those types of challenging moments, you take a first step to making the most of it, followed by being able to then also be in a less agitated state so that you may learn from the challenge, as well as put your best foot forward to succeed as you desire to with the at hand.
Here are some ways to make the most of a challenge by keeping inner growth in the forefront.
- When you notice you are feeling uneasy with a challenge, immediately turn your focus to list five things you are uneasy about. For each item listed, think of three possible solutions.
- Once a year look back to the challenges you had the most difficulty facing and feeling/being at your best while going through the moment. Explore your emotions in all the situations that come to mind. Then list three ways you are going to bring a different emotion to challenging moments like those in the year ahead.
- Every morning think of three amazing things that have come about thanks to some of your most difficult challenges; keep those amazing things in mind for challenges throughout the day.
