When you approach positivity and negativity from a neutral stance you are able to stay open to the lessons behind each type of situation and mindset.
Contrasts such as positivity and negativity allow you to go in-depth on how you see things, why, and where you want to be in how you view those things that happen, as well as the approach you want to take.
Here are some ways to stay neutral when it comes to positivity and negativity so that you stay open to the life experiences that take place and so that you may continue to pursue inner growth and harmony.
- Make a list of how you define positivity and negativity, pay attention to how you feel about those definitions and what happens when you think of each.
- At the end of the day take five minutes to explore your mindset towards what took place throughout the day. Whether your inclination was positivity and/or negativity, go a step further and ask yourself why you think it was positive and/or negative and what this means to you.
- When you notice negativity taking place in a way that affects you emotionally, take some time to look at what you can do to resolve the negativity in a way that turns it positive from the heart.
