Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Exploring Fluctuating Emotions

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

Our emotions are a part of the day-to-day with a great influence on our level of expression and the actions we take.

Exploring fluctuating emotions gets you to understand the depths of them and through this conscious approach you are then able to opt for ways to work with yourself to bring about the balance and harmony you wish to achieve.

Here are some ways to explore fluctuating emotions in the moment while keeping inner growth in the forefront as well.

  1. Whenever you notice a repeat pattern in fluctuating emotions take a minute to think or write about the repeat component (do this with a focus on finding the common source that causes the fluctuating emotions).

  1. Use two to five words to describe what your fluctuating emotions are pointing too. Notice what those words are pointing to and ask yourself how you can help bring about a harmonious resolution to each of the things your words indicate.

  1. When you are in a moment of fluctuating emotions take a break from what you’re doing as soon as you can and bring lightness within your heart, the feeling of emotional calm and security. As you’re doing this think of the situation that is causing the fluctuations in your emotions and see what solutions you can find. When you’re done, notice anything that stood out to you about your thought process in the moment.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
