Inner Growth Thought of the Day: A Recurring Challenge
When it comes to one recurring challenge people face in pursuing their highest potential and pursuing inner growth it’s the need of validation for the things they believe in. This is one of the most common reasons why people stay stuck in repeat cycles of unsettled emotions, absence of harmony, and possibility to go all the way with their heart’s desires, life goals.
Coexisting with others doesn’t mean their beliefs, truths, validation and acceptance of your beliefs are required; this is your choice to make. You can believe in your beliefs with or without validation, but until you require the validation and acceptance of others to believe in what you believe, you will continue to sway back and forth on decisions, emotions, and inner harmony with you.
Here are some ways to gain stability in either accepting you want validation by others if you’re going to believe something or removing the need for validation so that your beliefs depend solely on you.
- In moments of indecision on a belief write down (or think about) why you’re not sure about it. Take each doubt and ask yourself if this doubt is yours, of others, or both.
- With awareness of your doubts, you have a choice to make on what your belief is based on how it resonates with you from the heart.
- As long as you feel in harmony with your final choice on your belief, you will remember that feeling and bring it to your awareness when facing similar doubts/situations again.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
