Inner Growth Word of the Day: Exhaustive
Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: (adj.) including all possibilities.
Exhaustive in a sentence: When you’re exhaustive in your search for ways to achieve the goals you’ve set out, you know you’re doing everything possible to reach them.
Exhaustive in action: Considering everything that is a part of a circumstance, that is exhaustive.
Exhaustive and inner growth: Exploring the exhaustive in your considerations brings about inner growth because it gives you a level of self-awareness like no other since you look through all the options you’ve contemplated and get in-depth of why they worked or didn’t for you.
Exhaustive and inner growth action steps:
- In-depth self-exploration questions: What does it mean to me to be exhaustive in my search for answers? How am I exhaustive when making life choices? Why is being exhaustive on matters important to life? When did I first think about being exhaustive in the choices I make for my future? How has being exhaustive in things affected my relationships? How has being exhaustive with my resources helped me?
- List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with exhaustive at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. Now think of two things you’ve done in your life where you were exhaustive in the choices you made. Write about one of the two events using the words in your list.
- Bring your awareness to your feelings about exhaustive and take note of where the emotions arise, how they flow, and if they accumulate in any specific areas of your body. As you do this allow thoughts to come in and pay attention to the changes in feelings and flow that take place.
