Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: (adj.) 1 a. not restricted to a particular time or date. 1 b. having no beginning or end: eternal. 2. not affected by time: ageless.
Timeless in a sentence: There are feelings in this world that are timeless indeed, welcomed and lived day after day.
Timeless in action: Anything that has no beginning or end is considered timeless.
Timeless and inner growth: A closer look at what timeless means to you and how it plays a role in your life brings inner growth as you explore your feelings with timeless things, thoughts, feelings, ideas, and so on. It allows you to bring to awareness your relationship with time as well.
Timeless and inner growth action steps:
- In-depth self-exploration questions: What does timeless mean to me? How have I learned about life from anything timeless that’s crossed my path? What feelings do I hold that are timeless? What opinions do I hold that are timeless? How has my idea of timeless affected my relationships? Do I want more timeless things in my life?
- List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with timeless at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. When you look at the list, write about the two timeless things (feelings, person, relationship, opinion, etc.) that come to mind. Describe what happened or what makes them so important and how they’ve affected your life.
- Bring your awareness to your feelings about anything timeless and allow them to flow while silencing your mind. Just feel the emotions that run by, how are they, describe them, notice where they go and if they settle in areas of your body. If you notice any settlement visualize the feelings flowing down a stream of water. When you’re ready, allow thoughts to come in and notice how those emotions change. Dedicate some time to each emotion that arises, particularly the ones that stand out.
