Inner Growth Word of the Day: Living
Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: (n.) 3. conduct or manner of life.
Living in a sentence: When you’re living a life that makes you happy that’s living from the heart.
Living in action: Choosing what type of life you want and acting on that from your heart leads you to living.
Living and inner growth: Exploring your idea of living and the choices you make to implement your vision is something that leads to inner growth because before you can know what living means to you, you have to explore yourself, your heart and what’s important to you.
Living and inner growth action steps:
- In-depth self-exploration questions: What type of living lifestyle have I chosen for myself? What do I think about living? How has my idea about living changed through the years? What are the most important takeaways I’ve had so far from my living lifestyle choices? Is there anything I would change about the way I’m living? If so, what and why do I want to change it?
- List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with living at the center and then list or put around it all the other words that come to mind associated with it. Now make a list with two to five choices you’ve made that have had a huge impact on where you’re at with your living lifestyle. From this second list, pick one of the words based on the level of importance it has to you and use the first list of words to write about this choice/life event.
- Bring your awareness to your feelings about living and allow that initial feeling to express itself fully; so silence any other thoughts and feelings that come your way. After a couple minutes or when you’re ready, move on to that next thought or feeling related to living (your choices and lifestyle). Always focus on one at a time to really let it flow and share with you the complete picture of your emotions.
