Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Taking Inner Growth One Step At A Time

Being that inner growth fully awakens you to you, your inner core (the essence of you, your heart), the power you have for transformation from within an the unlimited potential available to you; it is only normal that it is a step-by-step process to take one step at a time.

 

As you become conscious of your inner core through inner growth, you are led to go within. Going within allows you to recognize a within and a “without”, the external world and pieces.  When you approach this process from a perspective of depth and discovery, you see and know the value of every step you take along the way due to it allowing you to uncover your multifaceted and multidimensional being (the depths of you).

 

Gaining knowledge of the depths of you and all that it means to be human, a person that lives in a society and with a system, requires its time.  Here are some ways to approach inner growth one step at a time.

 

  1. Make a list of the steps you’ve taken so far to go within and understand your inner core (heart), the conflicts that arise with your day-to-day, and what you’ve learned so far. For each thing you listed make it a habit to bring consciousness to the feelings you experience when they take place again.  In the moment notice what stands out and what changes in time thanks to you raising your consciousness to the feelings in the moment.

 

  1. Every year write about at least one of the “autopilot reactions” you decided to take the time to explore through inner growth and transform by bringing consciousness to it in the moment. Take the time to map out the step-by-step process you see took place throughout the year as you tested out different ways to “react”.

 

  1. Once a day look back to what steps you took to have a nice day from the heart. Write about what moments you appreciated the most from the day and what moments you didn’t.  Decide how you’re going to add to each day by taking one additional step in these moments that gets you to go within and make a conscious choice of how to direct your appreciation.
