Inner Growth Thought of the Day: How Knowledge Of You Helps With The Unknown
Dealing with the unknown gets a lot easier as you gain knowledge of you through an inner growth journey. Instead of getting uneasy with the unknown, you start enjoying ways to explore it, learn from it, and use it in a positive way in your life.
Knowledge of you is power in that it reduces the unknown factors you deal with in the moment. This knowledge gives you a sense of security that keeps you in a steady emotional state to pursue the unknown with different eyes, with curiosity, and openness that will lead to a positive outcome in all areas of your life.
Here are some ways to work with the knowledge of you and the unknown through inner growth.
- Make a yearly list of the unknowns you dealt with throughout the year and write about what stood out the most from an emotional standpoint and from the knowledge you gained of you that you are now using in future unknown (similar) moments.
- Any time you are faced with the unknown, take five minutes to think about the attributes/characteristics you hold that give you creativity in challenging moments and use them for what you’re dealing with in the moment.
- At the end of a day take some time to observe/contemplate how you felt and behaved throughout your day-to-day stuff and any unknowns that came to be throughout the day. Write about anything that stands out and gives you added knowledge of you to help you work with the unknown moving forward.
