Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Finding Peace With What Is
Finding peace with what is, particularly when it’s something contrary to what you would like, takes time and willingness to go the distance with inner exploration, transformation, and trying again, until you feel that complete peace with what is from the heart (and not just from the mind).
An inner growth journey of any kind and for any life moment (you experience) gets you to dig deep and to go the distance because every time you are faced with something you turn within instead of focus on the external (what’s outside of you). As you pursue this way of life and mindset, your inner exploration brings you to find peace with what is in all instances and situations of your life.
Here are some ways to find peace with what is through inner growth in your day-to-day life.
- When something bothers you turn within and write down three reasons why this something is bothering you and for every reason find a solution that brings you to feel peace within (a peace that is associated with working through the something that bothers you).
- Write down three things that bring within you a calming and peaceful state of being. Keep these things in mind for moments when you notice you need to make peace with something that keeps repeating itself over and over and throwing you off inner balance/harmony.
- Once a year make a mental note of the things you found peace with and write down one to three things that stand out most for each experience, as well as what you learned about you.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
