Realizing the importance of mindset to deal with the unexpected and the role unconditional love plays, gets you to see what can work for you with the mindset you have, and what you can work towards to gain increased effectiveness in these unexpected moments.

Inner growth brings you to explore the depths of the mindset you hold, the reasons behind it, and the influencing factors such as unconditional love.  This type of exploration gives you the chance to adopt an inner growth mindset moving forward, which keeps you in a learning and open approach to things.  When you’re focused on your inner core and what your heart is saying to you in unexpected moments, it enables you to stay centered and balanced in a time where you need it most.

Here are some ways to pursue inner growth when dealing with the unexpected in an effort to keep a learning mindset that brings you to express your full potential in a moment where you need to, want to, be at your best.

  1. When you are faced with something unexpected pay attention to your emotional state and think of two to three things that can immediately bring you to a sense of calm so that you can gain clarity in the moment.

  1. Once a month or as often as you’d like, take five to 10 minutes to think of two to four things you fear or dislike the most about the unexpected. For each item you list, find two benefits you’ve gained from them when they’ve taken place in the past.

  1. Pick the one thing you have the most difficulty with when it comes to the unexpected, and once a day take some time to ask yourself at least one question about this difficulty. You want your questions to bring you to explore your reasons for this challenge; as well as find different ways you’re going to work with yourself to transform this difficulty into something that gets you to move forward instead of keeping you stuck.
