Your moments of extremes and contradictions give an opportunity to achieve your best when you explore them from your inner core through an inner growth focus and mindset.
As you tune in to your heart and find answers to questions related to your extremes and contradictions you become conscious of those inner core limits you pose to the best you can achieve. With this awareness you choose to remove limits or accept them moving forward and to stay open to the lessons they bring in the moment as you pursue inner growth.
Here are some ways to explore your extremes and contradictions in an effort to pursue inner growth and achieve your inner core’s (heart’s) best.
- Any moment where you become aware of an extreme or contradiction that is taking place notice how it is affecting your feelings and mindset. Write two to three words that describe these feelings and mindset and notice what these words indicate about your best in that moment.
- Make a list of what you identify as your extremes and contradictions. Next to each item write down how they came to be, what’s the reason for their existence as a part of you. Then scale from 1-10 how they effect your best and decide one thing you’re going to do to bring that number up.
- As you learn to be open in the moment, look back at the year and see how inner growth has affected your extremes and contradictions and make a list of what stands out about the way they’ve transformed.
