Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Knowing Your Decision Process
Knowing your decision process requires you to pay attention to the mechanisms that take place every time you are faced with a decision. In time you gain knowledge of that process and through inner growth you can pursue ways that you want to add to that process.
Our decision process involves various components and thanks to your awareness of these and the focus on your inner core’s input you are able to work through the things that hold you back. By integrating the things that give you a boost, you enable your decision process to bring about the best of you in moments where you want the best of you to come to your aid.
Here are some ways to learn more about your decision process while pursuing inner growth.
- Make a list of two to six traits that you notice persistently come about when you’re faced with a decision. For each trait you list, write next to it one way you are going to add to that trait so that it helps you make decisions with your heart in the forefront.
- Name one feeling that accompanies your decision process and notice how it helps make the process smoother for you. Then list one feeling that makes the decision process rougher for you. Bring the two feelings together to identify how you can reach harmony between the two to avoid taking away from you when you’re making decisions.
- Once a year look back to the decisions that had a huge impact on your awareness of your decision process and write about two to three things you learned about you thanks to the situation.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
