Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Making The Most Of All Emotions Through Inner Growth
Emotions are a part of life; and while some bring us up in down moments, others bring us down in down moments. When you are on an inner growth journey you look to these down/down moments in a way that transforms them to learning/down moments.
As you identify, through your inner growth exploration, those things you want to work on, those hurts to bring love to, those things your inner core desires for you to pursue and that growing trust you gain in your heart; you find that you will go through tough emotional moments in a way that allows them to take their needed course, but not debilitate you thanks to your welcoming of the lessons they hold as you explore the emotions through an inner growth mindset.
Here are some ways to make the most of all emotions through inner growth at any time you wish to do some inner exploration of these feelings you experience.
- Exploring an emotion starts with finding your own unique definition and attributions to that emotion. Make it a habit to explore two to four emotions this way and write out your definition and 5 attributes you associate to the emotion.
- In moments of obvious emotional states bring to consciousness what you are going through by asking yourself why you are feeling this way in this moment, what is the root cause of this moment.
- For every painful emotional moment, list two to three things that you would not have gotten to learn about yourself or appreciate about life, had it not been for this emotional moment.
