Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Redefining Strength & Weakness Through Inner Growth
Everything that is a part of life has its purpose and the same goes for the dynamic between strength and weakness when explored through the heart.
With inner growth comes awareness, consciousness and inner exploration. When you apply these to how strength and weakness affect you, you realize that there is something in between and that you can work with the two to arrive at a place from within that doesn’t block you, defend you, from the world outside or keep you in hiding because you don’t want to show vulnerability.
Here are some ways to explore and bring strength and weakness to favor your potential and pursue inner growth.
- Define strength and weakness for you, and while you do this, think of two to three times you’ve been in both places emotionally. Notice how each affects you and think of one way you’re going to rework your relationship with both in a way that includes love, compassion and acceptance of them.
- Write two to five words that express how you feel about strength and weakness, notice the commonalities and the differences between the feelings and try to bring consciousness to those feelings when you’re going through a moment of strength or weakness.
- Whenever you feel strength or weakness are holding you back from being open to life, understand the source of this blockage and think of a couple ways you can remove this resistance and substitute it with something that brings openness to your heart.
