Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Finding Steady Ground Through Inner Growth
Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊
Finding steady ground is important in life for many reasons. Not only does it help you ensure long-term success, but it creates a sense of security that provides you with the steadiness that enables you to stay focused and centered on learning and evaluating different solutions along your journey.
With inner growth, the process of finding steady ground is amazing in that it allows you to uncover yourself from the core (your heart), make decisions of where you want to allocate trust and what you want to do from what feels right to you, which then will give you a sense of calm and stability. You get to know yourself in and out, learn to trust you, and put into action the brick that build your steady ground (foundation).
Here are some ways to pursue finding steady ground through inner growth.
- Every year make a list of the things that shook you up and/or made you feel lost. As you go through your list find out what the fear/unsteadiness was and how the solution you provided has brought you steadiness from your core (heart) on that matter.
- List five things that you know are a part of a solid foundation to balancing emotions in moment of turmoil. Of those five things you listed, apply them daily to anything that brings a certain amount of unsteadiness. Notice how this helps you in the moment.
- Bring to consciousness how in tune you are with your core (your heart) in the moment of making decisions. Pay close attention to if you follow your core (your heart) or if not. Find out how trust plays a role in your following your core or not and what you want to do to gain that trust in you.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
