Whether dealing with work related or personal relationship differences, when you apply an inner growth mindset your focus and exploration brings you to resolve these differences in a way that brings personal growth, but also a smooth continuation of the situation due to having an in-depth view of everything.
Here are some ways to keep inner growth in the forefront so you can make the best of differences.
- In situations where you clash with the people you’re dealing with, take a minute to hone in on what’s going on through your mind, what is your mind picking on as different and why.
- Make a list of the characteristics you have which come up a lot when dealing with differences. Next to each characteristic write yes or no if the differences you see are because you want the other person to have your characteristics in how they respond, deal with the situation and so on.
- Now that you know how you impact situations where differences are at play, write five ways you are going to overcome them when faced with situations that you want to move forward in.
