Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Going Beyond Feeling Wronged
When feeling wronged there’s an opportunity for you to go beyond it; whether you’re the one feeling wronged or accused of wronging.
As you keep in mind what characteristics are a part of feeling wronged (perspective, personalization, emotional state) you are able to learn from that situation in the moment and after; and also, you’ll be able to share insights with others too.
Here are some ways to go beyond feeling wronged and continue pursuing inner growth.
- Name 10 things that are a part of situations when you feel wronged. Next to each thing list what emotions come up and what this item means to you personally and related to your expectations in relationships. Look at the list every year and note any changes that have taken place of the items.
- Every time you feel wronged take five minutes to acknowledge the personalization aspect of it and notice how that personalization is affecting your emotions and the situation.
- Decide five ways you are going to deal with feeling wronged so that you can start with inner growth (exploring your inner-self, pursuing your inner peace, understanding if there are fears or hurts present, and so on) as soon as the situation presents itself
