Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Opinions, Discussions, & Conversations

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

Situations where opinions, discussions, and conversations arise allow us to grow and learn about the world around us thanks to the different perspectives that we gain through them.

As you contemplate the words you speak, the topics you discuss, the views you share and do the same towards what others say, share and discuss; you open yourself up to the vastness of the views and thought processes of the world.

Here are some ways to pursue inner growth in these moments of exchanges and shares.

  1. As you’re having a conversation identify what your opinion is and notice how it’s affecting the tone of the conversation.

  1. In a discussion take a minute to identify what words you’re using, and the different interpretations and emotions connected to those words. Pause to reflect how those words are affecting the situation.

  1. Take five minutes a day to notice how you listen to others in any form of conversation. What stands out with your listening skills and what else would you like to add to those skills and why?

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
