Inner Growth Thought of the Day: It’s All About Communication

Tune in to the Inspiring Human Potential podcast on Anchor to hear more on the topic 😊

Communication is important in everything we do and how we talk to each other makes all the difference in how situations can unfold, relationships can develop, and businesses can connect.

Since sometimes there are mixed messages and different ways of communicating, it is important to be clear on how one communicates so as to differentiate and identify differences from how another or others communicate.

In addition to knowing your communication perspective, gut signals, you can also add some other things to help you stay in tune with a genuine message and open to listening predisposition.

  1. To remove filters that can lead your gut astray in what it perceives, ensure you are fully aware of your opinions first. This enables you to set aside your filters and truly tune in to the other person or groups of people before continuing the conversation.

  1. Every day identify three types of communication interactions you experienced: 1) opinionated/judgmental, 2) lacking in substance/fluff talk, 3) genuine/caring.

  1. Write out a how you will work on your communication to help it express what is completely in tune with your heart to others in a way that you feel they can understand. Journal about how the situations go, what you learn, and what you will try next.

Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
