Inner Growth Thought of the Day: Learning From Transitions
It’s very easy to overlook what you learn as you change or transform, as you go through transitions that bring you further along in your inner growth journey and reaching harmony within your life and day to day.
The way you can look back and see what you have learned depends on what depth you choose to use when looking back, what corners you explore and hiding spots you uncover. There’s just so much to you and all that you have lived and will live, that learning from transitions when looking back is a never-ending journey that you can always gain insights from.
Here are some ways you can learn from your transitions, transformations, changes, and past moments that come to mind.
- Every morning, take five minutes to think of one of your dominant traits and explore what changes you see in this trait since you first became aware of it.
- Make a list of the major transitions, transformations, changes, and past events in your life. At your own leisure, add an item that describes what each moment you listed represents to you and one thing you learned from it (keep your list so that you can add to items as the years go by).
- Once a year think about the biggest transformation you recognize to have gone through and next to this major event list the transitions, changes, transformation, and past year moments that contributed to this big transformation.
