Inner Growth Thought of the Day: That Which Is Intangible
If you can’t see it, will you believe it? This is the opening question to the intangible topic, which so many sense and yet also ignore. Every person has that gut feeling or a calling from the heart, but since it isn’t as clearly defined as a societal chosen path, a defined social label or a set of identifiable criteria with a visible structure, people are not as inclined to follow it or use it as their main guide in life.
The intangible of you is what you want to pay attention to and bring forth as you coexist with the tangible if you are going to pursue inner growth and harmony. This blend of the two allows you to lead from your true purpose, and also eventually transform it into something tangible that works with the society and world you live in. The harmony of you, the pursuit of inner growth, all starts from the intangible.
Here are some ways that can help give the intangible the priority it should have in your life so that you may lead from the heart.
- When you have an idea of something you want to do, but it isn’t clear in what way, pinpoint the feeling and essence of that something. For example, an overwhelming feeling and desire to help people.
- Focus on matching what you’re doing to the feeling and not in what way you’re doing it. So it isn’t the job title or business type, but the fact that through what you do, you’re helping others (our example from above).
- Use the feeling to guide you on your next steps and know that the “tangible” (the structure) will come as a consequence.
Your turn – Share your inner growth thought of the day, a sentence, life examples, or action steps you take with new beginnings 😊
