Blame and inner growth: A look at how blame plays a role in your life pursues inner growth because it brings about awareness of areas in your life that you can change by taking action instead of blaming.  It also enables you to make peace with the situation when you confront it with yourself helping you move on and let go.

Blame and inner growth action steps:

  1. In-depth self-exploration questions: How does blame play a role in my life? Do I blame others or things for situations that happen in my life?  How does blame affect my life?  How does blame affect my relationships?  What have I learned about life in situations where blame was involved?  How do I react to someone who blames me for something?

  1. List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with blame at the center and then list or put around it all the words that come to mind associated with it. Next think of one situation where blame was involved and write about how this affected your life using the words from your list.

  1. Bring your awareness to your feelings about when you blame others or something for things in your life. Notice how the emotions flow and what they say about that situation.  If you notice feelings that settle in certain areas within look to release them and visualize them flowing and disappearing in an endless stream of water.
