Inner Growth Word of The Day 183 – Peace

July 2

Inner Growth Word of the Day: Peace

Merriam-Webster Dictionary definition: (n.) 1. a state of tranquility or quiet.

Peace in a sentence: When you are in a state of peace everything around you is too.

Peace in action: A sense of serenity and calmness is peace.

Peace and inner growth: Finding that sweet spot that brings about peace within you brings about inner growth since finding that peace brings you to take actions that get you to a place where you’re aware and have either transformed or accepted all that is a part of you in a way that resonates with you fully.

Peace and inner growth action steps:

  1. In-depth self-exploration questions: What does it mean to me to be at peace? How has the pursuit of peace from within changed my life?  When was the first time that I thought about peace?  How has inner peace affected my relationships?  What have I learned about myself from my pursuit in reaching a state of peace from within?

  1. List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with peace at the center and then list or put around it all the other words that come to mind associated with it. Pick one word from your list and think of an event where peace was a big part of this event.  Write about this event using the rest of the words from your first list.

  1. Bring your awareness to your feelings about peace and allow them to flow within you noticing where the emotions you are feeling stem from and where they go first. As you do this visualize a flowing river and apply that visualization to your feelings.  When you’re ready let thoughts come in and focus on the thought that provokes the biggest emotional response.  From here allow your feelings to continue telling you about this thought and why it’s so important to you.
