Solitude and inner growth action steps:
- In-depth self-exploration questions: How do I feel about solitude? What have I learned about life from my moments of solitude? What have I learned about myself? How has solitude affected my relationships? What are some of my biggest takeaways from my first experiences of solitude? Have I chosen my moments of solitude or is it a feeling that persists within me?
- List or word bubble: Make a list or word bubble with solitude at the center and then list or put around it all the other words that come to mind associated with it. With the list write about one of the most significant moments of solitude you’ve experienced. When you’re done with your story notice if anything stands out about how you used the words from your list within your story.
- Bring your awareness to your feelings about solitude and silence your mind for about five minutes. Focus only on your emotions and feel them spread throughout you. When you’re ready, let your thoughts come in, but focus on the first thought that comes about and pay attention on the feeling it brings about. Do this for a bit before moving on to another thought and feeling.
